Do you have 5 minutes?  If so you can do this!

Today's 5 minute cleaning task is:
   Go through your junk mail.

We all have that area where we put mail that is not important but we still want to keep. Go through it and get rid of what you don't need.

Today's 5 minute cleaning task is:
   Wipe down your kitchen baseboards

When was the last time you wiped your baseboards  For me....let's not talk about it. :) This is also a really great cleaning task to do with your 18 month+ child. Just give them a damp rag and show them how to wipe. Of course they won't do it perfectly, but it is a great introduction to chores. Mommy multitasking at its best!

Every new parent will eventually ask the question, "What should I put on my baby registry?" When I got pregnant, I received a lot of  advice on what I should register for. The advice proved helpful but what I wanted was a basic list.

Now that I am a parent, I get asked the baby registry question often. So I have compiled a list of basic recommendations.  Please remember that every baby and family is different. So you might need more than what is listed. If you have a recommendation, please leave a comment!

Today's 5 minute cleaning task is:
       Wipe off your stove-top

OK, for some this might take longer than 5 minutes, but for most you just need a quick wipe down. Don't forget the oven door!

Today's 5 minute cleaning task is:
Wiping down kitchen cabinet and refrigerator doors.

This won't take long and it will make your kitchen look so much better!  Just grab a wet cloth, disinfectant wipe, baby wipe, etc., and just do a quick wipe down. You might be surprised by how much dust will be on your cabinet doors!

Not everyone has it so easy, so please don't judge. Encourage and help other mommas.

I remember preparing for the birth of my first child and knowing I was going to breastfeed. There wasn't any doubt about that. I went to the classes, learned all I could. Had books, a pump, a nursing pillow and 6 lactation consultants (LC). I thought I was prepared, but I wasn't prepared for everything.

They tell you, it will be hard at first and then Boom! your milk comes in and your breastfeeding. You will have more milk then you know what to do with it. Only a very few will need to supplement and even fewer won't be able to breastfeed at all.

That's not entirely true.
